This is a lovely little town and our walking tour took us up to the old part of the town.....but there were shops on the way to have a little look into. It is amazing where the shop front maintained it's heritage, but inside the most unique little stores.
The town is well known for it's Bamberg lace and it's beer...a strange mix, however I managed to check out both....bought lace for Mother and drank beer....all before lunch. The beer is well known for it's 'smokey' taste of bacon and can only be bought in 1/2 litters..oh well someone has to do it!
